Danny has been a member of the Executive Leadership Team at the Links since 2005 and has overseen the transformation of the retail operation from two to five stores as well an online shop. He also has overall responsibility to deliver all aspects of the retail business for The Open as well as successful wholesale and licensing relationships with organisations such as Harrods and Walt Disney World. He has also developed a successful retail business in both Japan and Korea.
Over the past decade, one of Danny’s primary remits has been to explore new ways of diversifying income streams at the Home of Golf. This included the establishment of a successful global partnership and licensing programme, which has seen the Home of Golf align with some of the most renowned brands in the world including Allianz, Rolex, Callaway, Toro and NBC.
Danny is also a member of Council at St Leonards School in St Andrews and chairs the commercial sub-committee. Before that he was a board member of the commercial entity at the University of St Andrews. He is supporting Caroline and the team at Social Good Connect to grow and do some amazing things for those within the communities that businesses rely upon.
