As a single mother of three, with two young daughters, Celia told us how she experienced period poverty before it was an openly discussed issue. Determined to take action, Celia and her daughters launched Hey Girls CIC from her kitchen table in 2018, now her company is an instantly-recognisable brand in helping to fight period poverty in the UK.
Selling eco-friendly and feminine-friendly sanitary tampons, pads and cups through ‘buy one to give one’ product lines, which provides essential products to low-income families in the UK. In what’s been a whirlwind couple of years, Celia is now a multi-award winning entrepreneur, with over 14.9 million products donated and has contracts with UK governments and the biggest retailers.
